Gold Coast Restaurants

The Gold Coast is renowned for having some of the best restaurants and fine dining in Australia. Here is a guide to some of the top restaurant strips on the Gold Coast, although there are many other fine establishments catering for all of the areas in between.

Surfers Paradise
The heart of the Gold Coast in Surfers Paradise perhaps has the widest and most diverse range of dining out options available. There is practically something for every taste and budget, with hidden gems hiding around every corner. Some favourites include Circle on Cavill, Chevron Renaissance, Orchid Avenue, Cavill Mall and Elkhorn Avenue.

Broadbeach
Broadbeach is famous for restaurant strip, based around Surf Parade, the Victoira Avenue Mall, and the Oasis Shopping Centre. It’s highly advisable to make a booking, as many more popular venues run at capacity at night and during the weekend. Also worth seeing the dining options at Conrad Jupiters Casino.

Coolangatta/Tweed Heads/Kirra
The area around the Coolangatta central business district is a hub of restaurants and dining options. Check out the variety on Marine Parade, Griffith Street, and on Minjumbal Drive. There are also many options available at nearby Kirra, Greenmount and throughout Tweed Heads.

Tedder Avenue/Main Beach
Tedder Avenue is simply the place to be seen on the Gold Coast! Fantastic restaurants, cafes, bars and boutique shops are a feature. Relax with a coffee in the playground of the rich and famous. Also, the nearby Palazzo Versace offers more incredible dining experiences.

Marina Mirage
Newly refurbished, Marina Mirage offers some of the finest upmarket dining experiences on the Gold Coast, with fantastic waterfront restaurants allowing you to soak up the best of the Broadwater and the Gold Coast’s fantastic aquatic based lifestyle. Marina Mirage is situated on Seaworld Drive at Main Beach, a short drive from Tedder Avenue and Surfers Paradise.

Burleigh Heads
Kick back and relax, away from the hustle and bustle of life with a meal at one of the many fine restaurants based in Burleigh Heads. Many options are available in the James Street business district, however if you are looking for a restaurant with a view, have a look at Goodwin Terrace, in the shadow of Burliegh Head National Park with a stunning vista looking north toward Surfers Paradise and Broadbeach. The foreshore is also a perfect place for a picnic.

Labrador
Labrador has a surprising range of dining options, with some hidden jewels being the restaurant strip along Marine Parade at the Aqua resort, as well as at the Grand. Enjoy life on the Broadwater with a stunning view over to the Spit and Stradbroke Island. Ideal place for a dinner at sunset or Sunday morning breakdfast.
